shape_gen module generates an arbitrary solid body from given plane contours. The contours are represented by level set function in the plane hosting them, i.e. generated by contour_reader module. The generated 3D shape according to these contours are implicitly represented by level set function or level set at each grid point inside the computational domain. The required input of shape_gen are level sets representing contours while output of shape_gen are level sets representing the generated 3D solid body. An example of a 3D solid body generated from two input contours is shown on the right figure.
